Facing Future Podcast Invites Brett KenCairn to Share His Thoughts On: Restoring Living Systems, the Key to Survival

Our technological society has largely lost the deep understanding that our lives depend on nature. It is not simply a dollarable commodity, or a geochemical machine. Its biodiverse systems are far more complex and we threaten them at our peril. We must restore habitat, soil and #WaterCycles on at least a third of the 70% of land that has been degraded. In this program, we explore the need to focus on H2O, as much as CO2, in order to restore living systems, and to reverse the damage done by human civilizations.

Today’s guest, #BrettKenCairn, is the Founding Director of the Center for Regenerative Solutions and Senior Division Manager for Nature-based #ClimateSolutions in the City of Boulder’s Climate Initiatives Team. For more about Brett's work: https://naturebasedclimate.solutions‍ ‍
