Climate Solutions Accelerator
The Urban Nature-based Climate Solutions Accelerator is a sequence of three 4-month-long capacity-building intensives designed to rapidly grow community capacity to implement equity-centered, nature-based climate solutions to some of the most pressing climate change challenges facing communities.
The Accelerator is a joint offering of Center for Regenerative Solutions, Urban Sustainability Directors Network, and the City of Boulder.
Background
Over the last six years, a broad consortium of cities, counties, and community-based organizations worked with and through the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and Center for Regenerative Solutions to grow a body of knowledge and best practices associated with urban nature-based climate solutions.
To catalyze this essential field of climate action, Center for Regenerative Solutions partners with urban nature-based solutions leaders to provide customized, leading-edge capacity building and technical assistance to communities ready to begin or expand their nature-based climate action efforts.
The Urban Nature-Based Climate Solutions Accelerator provides participating communities with the latest information, tools and systems, and guidance from leading experts, guiding them through a sequence of developmental steps designed to support the development of locally customized urban climate strategies in critical climate risk/nature-based solution areas.
